Can you run it?

1 post in this topic

So do you want to know if your computer will run a game before you but it. Well try out this handy web application. It has pretty much every game out there and ones that are coming out in the future. It will break down what points your system fail's and passes on.

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx

You will have to install some plugins when you start to run it for the first time, and sometimes the Java plugin install will fail and you will have to manually install it (click manual install, and it will take you to java's site and just follow the steps, it is pretty much the same as installing any other plugin). Hope it helps you all out!

*Please note that it bases off of the games published minimum requirements. You MAY still be able to run the game even though it says you can not, but just at lower settings. Also if you are using a laptop to run the test, some laptop components are not recognized by the program (and will fail as a result) as they have a different "naming" and laptop components are not always programed into "can you run it" programs like this (because laptops are not really meant to play games). That being said High End/Gaming laptop components are usually included. If you are using a laptop and you see points fail look at what it says you need and compare that to what you have to see if it is a "false fail". This is in no way 100% YES you can run it or 100% NO you can not run it. It is just a general guide to if you can or not. But generally speaking if it says pass, then you will be able to run it, if it says fail then there is a chance you will not be able to depending on how much lower your specs are.
