Do you know how to trace route? If so trace route to the IP and see where the connection is failing. I am betting you are getting a node failure close to you in route to the server and it is not bouncing around the node. The only reason I think it is that is because you are the only one with the issue ATM.

I can not read the IP's of 3 through 7 so I can not trace it on my end. Where do you live?

Never mind didn't notice that the IP is coded into the address. Looks like you are in the South end of Maryland somewhat near Virginia. You are losing the connection in New York city just after hitting Voxel.net (Internap.com). The server is located in Scranton, PA so you are timing out about 5-6 hops before you would be connected to the server.

I personally would contact Internap.com customer support and let them know you are losing connection to IP 199.19.105.215 from their datacenter and see if they can further trace the issue to see if it in internal on their end of if it is the next hop out from their node. They should then be able to correct the issue if it is on their end or contact the next node location and advise them of the connection failure as this has to be effecting more than just you.

Another thing I would try if I were you is to contact your ISP and see if they can track the issue and fix it as well. Probably be best to call them and ask for their tech support team and you might have to ask for a higher level "agent" or what ever they call them. The customer service and lower level tech support will likely have no clue WTF you are talking about and just pull the "It must be an issue on your end or with the IP you are trying to connect to, if you would like we can send a person out to check your connection and modem" bs. Let them know that YOUR connection is fine and the IP you are trying to connect to is fine. The issue at a Node in NY and is between THEM and the Location of the server which is located and Scranton, PA.

Did the guy that replied fail to notice hop #7 on the second tracert?! Ugh. I will contact our host when I get home...who knows maybe they are null routing incoming traffic from there due to a DDoS attack. Are you going to be around around 4pm CST (5 your time)

I have opened a ticket with our host. Apparently most of the US is fucked right now with internet (and not just with Comcast) so I wonder if it has anything to do with that...

I will not be online tonight, and thanks to George he gave me tip to try a VPN and that solved the issue for temporary till this is solved. I will be on again mid-day tomorrow.

Give it a try now and see if it works. They made some network changes for us to try and resolve the issue. Let me know!

I will give it a try tomorrow when I return home @ late night EST.

I am currently not home and do not have ts or arma 3 installed here, and the results could be completely different.
