  1. Tbird, you talking to EEF, me, or Iconoclast ? or all three tried clean install it wasn't much help, but I always do a clean install of graphics drivers so no shock there, I am running sandy bridge, I've heard I might need to update chipset drivers or bios or some such for the mobo for these cards ? coming from 580s... though those had the dips aswell in bf4
  2. No BSODs, I get epic fps dips into the high 40s in most maps, running sli gtx 780s, sucks when running with vsync, very jarring. Beautiful screen tears without vsync :/
  3. right !? Apparently life is a lot like Burger King, I CAN have it my way ... but honestly this is the only time I've really had a very positive result from an RMA, just thrilled.
  4. And I received 780s I've picked up bf4 if any of you want to get down. I no longer have a functioning headset but whatevs.
  5. Okay, so one of my friends was dicking around and broke the front i/o panel door off my case and I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere, I can't stand looking at a $350 case with damage like that, it's driving me crazy... Anyone know where I can find a replacement ???
  6. thanks guys, keep 'em coming. For Hidden: source I need half-life 2, right ? anyone play Stanley Parable, it looks pretty interesting, shame I'm broke while it's on sale haha
  7. Haven't been here in a bit, had a portion of my small bowel removed ( say no to Crohn's ), I'm kinda out of it as far as new/newer/newish games go ( hell even the older ones really ), could anyone give me some solid reccomendations for games ? I like sims ( racing and flight mostly ), sandboxes, fps, rts, turn-based strategy, rpgs, well really anything that's got some polish or atleast plenty of promise
  8. Realtemp is good or EVGA PrecisionX
  9. With the house selling, me looking for an apartment, and waiting to have my psu replaced I just haven't been around much except for the occassional visit to chat or ask a question. I will return as soon as everything calms down.
  10. I bought an Asus g46vw... nothing but problems, returned it twice, and experienced the same issues with it's replacements. Also get your drivers from Asus' website, they customize the drivers for there laptops, I got nothing but black screens when I'd try to go from the start menu thingy in 8 to the desktop using the drivers from nvidia, the drivers from Asus are usually fairly dated though.
  11. I'm a big fan of the racing genre, I'm a huge fan of the Dirt and F1 games, I'm normally not very big on Nascar but I watched you play it the other day and it looked like I could get some jollies off playing this.
  12. Cool, I'm mostly interested in vehicles but I'll drop you a PM, thanks.
  13. Yeah, I could use a bit of help modding gta4 for the pc, if anyone knows how and could show me that would be great.
  14. yep they are EVGAs , I've had them for a bit more than a year now, I've never used precision x, are there any quirks I should be aware of ?
  15. nawww, no OC at all, I am running these benchmarks at max settings also.
