  1. Well I had posted a post but got deleted somehow. I'm resigning from the clan , just like Kpop evil, I feel like the "other guy" always the same people playing together some limited slot games, hardly anyone is playing together and when battlefield 4 came out and tried to join the team well i had some comments like "oh not bio again, I'm switching to team 1" now maybe it was a joke maybe it wasn't but iv'e had enough. Did my best to be useful to the clan. posting tips and tricks, gicing away some games, helping other guys when needed but that wasn't enough I guess. I Had lots of fun with some of you and i'll stay in touch for sure. and other won't care about this. I've been using the teamspeak server with some friends even after the post and I'll understand if you ask me to stop using the teamspeak server. I wish the best to you guys and the clan.
  2. I'm asking myself the same question! So should I just open a thread?
  3. count me in
  4. Hello ladies, here are some nice/cool steps to optimize ARMA III to fix that damned low fps issues 1. Go to Steam Library 2. Go to "Arma 3" Right Click then select "Properties" 3. Select "Set Launch Options" 4. Copy and paste the correct launch command line below to what your system is setup for and click "OK". For AMD CPU users: AMD Dual Core with 4GB System Ram: "-noSplash -cpuCount=2 -high" AMD Quad Core with 4GB Ram: "-noSplash -cpuCount=4 -high" AMD Six Core with 4GB Ram: "-noSplash -cpuCount=6 -high" AMD Eight Core with 4GB Ram: "-noSplash -cpuCount=8 -high" ______________________________________________ If your running more than 8GB Ram then apply this to the end of the launch line: "-maxMem=8192" This will allow your game to utilize 8GB system Ram instead of 4GB. ______________________________________________ Intel CPU: For Hyperthreaded CPU's such as a Quad Core you will apply this: -cpuCount=8 This will enable your Hyperthreads on your CPU so your CPU will act as an eight core when running Arma 3. If you are running a Hyperthreaded Six Core then: -cpuCount=12 If you are running a Hyperthreaded Eight Core or Eight Core Xeon then apply this: -cpuCount=16 If you are running just a non Hyperthreaded CPU such as a Quad Core then select "4" instead of "8" same for a Dual Core you will select "2" instead of "4". All AMD CPU's are NOT Hyperthreaded so Hyperthreaded options is highly not recommended as this can cause system failure or damage. I will not be responible for system failure and damage if you choose to select more cores then you have on your command line! -high: makes your operating system prioritize services and processes to run your game better but this can cause system failure and instability if you dont have a good running system. If you Overclock this can cause system instability. -noSplash: disables startup videos and advertisements. -cpuCount=#: enables extra CPU cores and Hyperthreads. -maxMem=#: when set to "6144" (6GB) and up lets your game use more system Ram then 4GB. Do not set to higher than 4GB if you dont have at least 8GB. You can set to "8192" (8GB) if you have 12GB+ Ram.
  5. It's a steam code... Anyways I take this as a no. And yes you might be able to buy stuff from amazon.ca but the other way around isn't possible n that particular game. I don't know why

  8. Well if you plan on waiting until the holidays. I'm a member at intel retail edge and they make 2 sales per year 1 in summer and 1 in holiday season. Last sale i bought an i7 3770k for 80$ there so if there is a deal for a cpu i might be able to hook you up. of course youll have to pay the cpu, shipping and custom fees/taxes and then shipping to your place but i still believe you'll save money . the i7 with all the fees ans shipping to my place came up to 140$ so i did save shit loads of cash. and retail edge sometimes sell mobo/cpu combos Bro, every time you post in here you make my day. I swear, this would be fucking awesome. IF you can and would, I would be willing, i7 3770k is 320 right now. So it will likely be around 250 for the holidays, so that would still be saving money. We will see when the time comes. Thanks for the offer. Also if you work for one of their partners you can create your own account. It's pretty awesome , you take courses they give you points and you can buy stuff with those points like pc case, pc water cooler, surround sound system etc etc the site is : retailedge.intel.com Check if you can create your account . it is worth it

  10. If you game only and you have the 2500k and not the basic 2500 then upgrading would be a waste of money for now an i5 2500k is more than enough to play any games right now and will probably be good enough for the games in the next 2-3 years, since you're going to 760s , your processor will not bottleneck you GPU's. the i7 would be way netter overall for better multitasking, video editing and stuff like that For a good comparison check this: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-3770K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-2500K You're the man. And no I sadly only have the 2500, but I heard you can overclock them with like MSI afterburner and other programs taht allow you to change CPU clock speeds. I got this 2500 and mobo for a really good deal so just skipped on the K version. Couldn't pass up an i5 2500 and Mobo for only 279.99. So getting an i7 for gaming would be pointless? Alrighty, sounds like my upgrade will be even easier. Thanks a bunch for all the help guys. Yes an i7 is currently pointless if you're building a "gaming" rig, Keep the processor and mobo you have right now, you should invest in an SSD or get a nice Gtx 760 or even a GTX 770 since you're saving money now and go kill some b00bs ... oops i meant n00bs
